Talking Back Part 2

Take a look: Ps 92

I sing for joy at the works of your hands.

Ps 92:4

Your devotional time is the path to having that kind of stage door experience with GOD. Yesterday we talked about prayer as coming into GOD's presence . But what do you do once you're there, to feel that real, live closeness with him? Take your cues from the riter of Ps 92. He understood GOD's greatness and really talked it up.

Meditate. Concentrate on who GOD is. Try making a list of his attributes as you read your Bible, and think about what they mean to you. Then think about what GOD has done - his "greatest hits," so to speak. Let your mind go wild - GOD's creation is full of marvels. Think of what he has done for you in giving you life and a world to enjoy.

Then tell GOD how great it all is. Out loud. Enjoy this. Revel in it. Think of all the terrific possibilities the power of GOD suggests.

Be honest. Absolutely honest. It's just you and GOD now, and he knows what you're thinking, anyway. Why not say it? If you feel tired and lazy, tell him. If you're so happy about something that you think you'll bust,let'er rip! Sy exactly what you think and feel. Take away the barrier of pretending, and GOD will seem closer.

Be creative. The writer of Ps 92 talks about praising GOD with "the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp"(v.3). Even if your musical talent is marginal, GOD still loves a "joyful noise.' So give him the best concert you can cook up, event if it's just humming a favorite praise song. Make this an offering to him. Treat him like the real person he is, and he will become more real to you.

Talking Back Part 1

Take a look: Ps 43 , Mt 21:22

Prayer is important. It's key to our daily devotional time. GOD talks to us through His Word, and we need to "talk back" - to keep the conversation going. Communication is basic to any relationship, including your relationship with GOD.

The author ps 43 writes about being oppressed by his enemis. Right after that, he mentions a strong desire to go to GOD and worship him. He wants an encounter with GOD's tru personality. Have you ever felt like that? Maybe when you're down or disappointed or you're strunggling with a problem and can't even thing staright, yiu'd like to go to someone who is all truth and light - not to ask for anything but simple to enjoy the rest and comfort of being with him.We can go to GOD at any time and any where when ever we need him.


We can do that through prayer. But we have to start by thinking of prayer not as sending GOD a wish list but rather as coming into his majestic presence. No kidding. No just in our imaginations but is actual fact. And then taking the opportunity to praise him, as the writer of Psalm 43 does.

This kind of private worship is true reason GOD created us in the first place/ And it will give us greater confidence when we do make specific requests of him.

Be strong and courageous for God

NOTES In the bible, Jesus first send his diciples into the mission field. Missionary work is no child’s play… V16-I’m sending you out like sheep among wolves.Therefore be shrewed as snakes and as innocent as dove

We are to carry out the kingdom of mission not just relying on our own strength.every single person have their own different mission field… where is your mission field??
This question u must ask God cause only God can lead u to the right one.

How come nowadays people emphasize so much on mission work,to reach out to the unreach of the world.? Rev 22:20 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen come Lord Jesus. Jesus proclaim that his second coming will be very near, there’s more ppl out there haven’t heard of the Gospels,or maybe the people closest to u also also never heard of the gospel. Deut 31:6 Be strong and courageous……. Time is running short, so as Christian we must have the courage to share to the circle of people around us….this is no more moments for us to be ashamed of the Gospels… Do not hesitate for others to be saved.

There’re 4 factors which we are to consider on order to be effective missionary.
1. wat did Jesus expect us to achieve? Workers are not sent out aimlessly but are given authority to bring the kingdom of God into peoples’ lives.(v1)
2. The focus of the mission,(v6 ) who is our target group?
3. wat is the message that we wanna preach? (v7) ‘the kingdom of heaven is near’
4. we’re to expect dangers (v 17-31) Dun think mission trip is a fun trip cause it’s not !!

v17- “Be on your guard against men; they will hand you over to the local councils and flog you in their synagogues.
So brother and sister in Christ, be alert at all times . Do not lose faith when these things happen. They are to be expected as the price to be paid for kingdom work.

V22- All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
